New SPDU unit now operating
Today we started our first commercial batch using the in-house designed, long awaited and recently delivered SPDU (short path distillation unit).
A short path distillation unit is special for plant extractions because it allows for the precise separation and purification of compounds in a plant extract. This process is particularly beneficial for plant extractions because it operates at lower temperatures compared to other distillation methods. This helps to preserve the delicate compounds in a plant’s composition.
The short path distillation unit uses a short distance between the evaporation surface and the condenser, minimizing the exposure of the compounds to high temperatures and reducing the risk of degradation. This results in a higher purity of the extracted compounds, making it ideal for extracting valuable components such as essential oils and other plant-based compounds. Additionally, the short path distillation process is very clean, sustainable and efficient.

x-TRACT participates for the first time at in-cosmetics exhibition in Paris. We look forward to showcase our unique products and capabilities to industry professionals, potential buyers, and consumers. During these 3 days, we aim to increase brand awareness, establish relationships with users and distributors, and potentially secure new business partnerships.
Additionally, participating in a cosmetic exhibition of this magnitude, it will allow us to learn more about the market and industry trends, which in turn will help us to refine our product portfolio and marketing strategies.
